Every student who attends Queensberry AP will take part in workshops aimed at developing the "whole child". Workshops will be delivered by our own staff and a host of other professionals and volunteers. Ranging from drugs intervention to building self-esteem, prison life to peer mentoring, our selection of workshops will not only compliment our English and Maths curriculum but will improve student confidence and willingness to engage in these core subjects.

Workshops will often be practical in nature and will offer challenges to each student and provide them with opportunities to address their own personal and social barriers to learning and in doing so help raise their aspirations. Workshops take place within Queensberry AP, outdoors and within HMP Thorn Cross.
