​We are currently looking to fill two positions within our organisation, both on a 12 month fixed term contract:

• School based Specialist Youth Worker (Term time only - Salary pro-rata)

• Community based Specialist Youth Worker (Full time)

As a Specialist Youth Worker you will be experienced in “trauma informed” practices and have a good level of understanding of the impact past experiences have upon a young person’s engagement and be able to demonstrate that you can overcome these barriers to ensure the successful delivery of intervention.

 

You will be able to manage your own caseload effectively and be able to continually assess the young people you are working with to ensure they receive the very highest level of support and respond appropriately to any ongoing concerns that may impact negatively upon their engagement and development.

 

Specialist Youth Workers will have a knowledge and understanding of Contextual Safeguarding and Restorative Practices to support them in their role.
